Air Jordan 1 Retro High Virgil Abloh Archive Alaska continues the direction set by Virgil Abloh, where the classic Air Jordan 1 is re-imagined through a deconstructed design. The original “Alaska” was seen in Europe in 2018 as part of the Off-White x Nike era, where a completely white colorway and raw-edged finish clearly distinguished it from traditional Jordan 1 models.
The 2026 version brings this design back in collaboration with the Virgil Abloh Archive. The purpose of V.A.A. is to preserve and continue Abloh's creative legacy, reintroducing his original ideas, sketches, and projects to new generations.
The model retains the key elements of the original look: a minimalist white color scheme, visible structures, and Abloh's recognizable visual language, which combines luxury fashion and sneaker culture. "Alaska" illustrates how the Air Jordan 1 silhouette evolved in Abloh's hands from a classic to a modern design icon.
